Authenticity
Education
Connection
Our first core value is authenticity. This is how we choose to live life, in expression of our most authentic and genuine self. A work space with authenticity as a core value celebrates and affirms individuals as they are. Respecting the path each of us walks along towards the most authentic version of ourselves. Everyone who steps through the door is welcomed as they are, team and guest alike. One should not have to mask their true self to exist in any space. Come as you are.
Education as a core value is more than just taking classes now and again. This value represents a posture of commitment to growth, continued development and eagerness to learn. No matter what stage one is at in their career, there is room for refining skills of the craft, expanding to challenge the way things are done or stepping into the world of educating others. Knowledge breeds confidence and confidence destroys fear. Education as a value represents an open mind and listening ear.
Connection represents engagement with the collective. Acknowledgment that we are stronger together. Readiness for open communication. Connection finds the similarities rather than the differences. Connection amongst the team allows us to be heard and supported. Connection with guests creates a space for them to be received and met where they are. Connection to the greater community and earth allows us to step with intention in unity towards a greater good now and for the future.
Come as you are.
We meet people where they are, co create their authentic self expression, and connect mindfully to the world around us.
OFFERINGS
approach. we are artists with time, not service providers with appointments. let us simplify the booking process for clients, and put the artist back in the drivers seat by selecting the techniques and application to be executed.
a client would (often) not sit in a cut consultation and ask for long concave layers, forward graduation and 1.5 inches point cut round. They would tell us how they feel with their hair, their goals and maybe even show pictures. It’s our roll as their co creator to translate this into technical execution.
let’s apply that to color. pretend you’ve never been to hair school and terms like gloss, partial, foilyage, balayage, baby lights, ombre, air touch, and demi have not been a part of your vocabulary for years. clients are out here so often guessing what is the correct appointment to book, and stylists are often put in tricky situations when they guessed wrong.
as long as there is online booking, there will be a client, new or existing who books the wrong appointment type, this we can accept, let’s change the things we can. let’s re frame, simplify, lean into price transparency, give technical decisions back to the artist, and welcome all guests with equality.
Haircut. booked for a set amount of time & flat rate
stylist options:
-book additional time for new client haircuts & increate rate
-book additional time for curly specialist haircuts & increase rate
Color. all prices are base rates. if additional product and/or time is required, or if there is a chance we may need multiple visits, additional color and/or time to achieve the desired results, we discuss this in the consultation, inform, educate and receive confirmation to proceed. price transparency is key.
